½ – Cup oil

½ – Cup Granulated sugar

½ – Cup brown sugar

1 – Egg

1 ½ – Cups applesauce

1 – tsp. Vanilla

2 – Cups flour

2 – tsp. baking powder

½ – tsp. soda

¾ – tsp. salt

1 – tsp. cinnamon

1 – tsp. nutmeg

½ – tsp. clove

Cinnamon glaze

 

Combine oil, sugars, egg, applesauce and vanilla.  Beat well.  Combine dry ingredients.  Add to applesauce mixture and beat until smooth.  Pour into greased and floured 2 quart bundt or tube pan. 

 

Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes or until cake tests done.  Turn over on rack to cool and remove.

 

When cool drizzle with glaze allowing it to run down sides.

 

CINNAMON GLAZE

 

1 – Cup powdered sugar

1 – Tbsp. Softened butter

2 – Tbsp, Milk

¼ – tsp. Cinnamon

 

Blend until smooth
