8 – Ounces cream cheese

1 – Egg

½ – Cup Sugar

½ – tsp salt

6 – Ounces chocolate chips

1 ¾  – Cup flour

1 – Cup Sugar

¼ – Cup Cocoa

½ – Cup walnuts

1 – tsp. soda

½ – tsp. salt

1 – Cup water

½ – Cup oil

1 – Tbsp. vinegar

1- tsp. vanilla

 

 

Mix cream cheese at room temperature with egg, sugar and ½ tsp salt until fluffy.  Add chocolate chips.

 

Combine dry ingredients – flour, sugar. cocoa, soda and salt.  Then add water, oil, vinegar and vanilla and mix.

 

Fill cupcake papers 2/3 full by adding heaping tablespoon of cream cheese mixture.  Sprinkle top with chopped nuts and sugar

 

Bake until golden brown at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

 

Three times the recipe can be baked in a large aluminum pan at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes.
